About Luigi's

    New Yorkers Ed and Ellen Piedmont Moved from Queens, NY. to Port Charlotte in 1981
    and opened Luigi's shortly Thereafter.  They first opened Luigi's doors in Englewood, Fl in

    1982 but soon moved to a better location in Port Charlotte in 1985.  With our growing

    reputation for the best pizza and best food in town, they again needed to expand their space to

    accommodate the large crowds that lined out the door.  In 2002 they moved once again but to

    a larger more accommodating restaurant where we plan to stay for years to come.. Recently Ed

    and Ellen have had their daughter Stacey and her husband Dave return to Florida to

    manage and learn the restaurant business.
